At Puchi Technologies, we want you to be completely satisfied with your Puchismart home products. This Refund Policy explains our return and refund process to ensure a fair and transparent experience.

1. Return Window

Standard Products

You may return most Puchi products within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, provided they meet our return conditions.

Extended Return Period

Products purchased during our holiday season (November 1 - December 31) may be returned until January 31 of the following year.

Custom and Configured Products

Products that have been customized, configured, or professionally installed have a 14-day return window from the date of installation completion.

2. Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, products must:

  • Be in original condition with all accessories and packaging
  • Include original receipt or proof of purchase
  • Be free from damage not related to manufacturing defects
  • Have all data wiped and accounts disconnected (for smart devices)
  • Not show signs of excessive wear or use

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Products damaged due to misuse or normal wear
  • Items without original packaging and accessories
  • Products with removed or altered serial numbers
  • Digital downloads and software licenses
  • Gift cards and promotional items
  • Products purchased with special discounts over 50% off

3. Return Process

Step 2: Receive Return Authorization

We will provide you with:

  • Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number
  • Prepaid return shipping label (for eligible returns)
  • Packaging and return instructions

Step 3: Ship the Product

Package the product securely with all original accessories and ship using the provided label. Returns without an RMA number may be refused or delayed.

Step 4: Processing

Once we receive your return, we will inspect it and process your refund within 5-7 business days. You will receive email confirmation throughout the process.

4. Refund Methods

Original Payment Method

Refunds are processed to your original payment method:

  • Credit/Debit Cards: 3-5 business days
  • PayPal: 1-2 business days
  • Bank Transfer: 5-10 business days
  • Store Credit: Immediate

Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be issued for:

  • Products with missing accessories (prorated amount)
  • Items with minor damage not affecting functionality
  • Products returned after 30 days but within warranty period

5. Return Shipping

Free Return Shipping

We provide free return shipping for:

  • Defective or damaged products
  • Wrong items shipped by our error
  • Products that don't match the description
  • Orders over $99 (within 30 days)

Customer-Paid Return Shipping

Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility for:

  • Change of mind returns
  • Orders under $99
  • Returns outside the standard return window
  • International returns

6. Exchanges

We offer exchanges for:

  • Defective products (warranty exchange)
  • Wrong size or color (subject to availability)
  • Upgraded models (pay the difference)

Exchanges follow the same process as returns but may have different timelines based on product availability.

7. Warranty Coverage & Registration

Warranty Period

  • Puchi Realtime Audio: 1-year limited warranty
  • Puchi WhatsApp Conversations: 1-year limited warranty
  • Puchi Smart Integrations: 1-year limited warranty
  • Accessories: 6-month limited warranty

Mandatory Warranty Registration

MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: You MUST register your product within 30 daysof purchase to activate ANY warranty coverage. Unregistered products are automatically VOID of all warranty protections and repair services. No exceptions will be made.

Product registration requires: purchase receipt, serial number, and user verification. Register immediately through your Puchi account or contact customer support.

What's Covered

Our limited warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship
  • Hardware failures under normal use conditions
  • Defective components that affect product functionality

What's NOT Covered

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage from misuse, abuse, or accidents
  • Normal wear and tear or cosmetic damage
  • Damage from unauthorized modifications or repairs
  • Water damage or exposure to extreme conditions
  • Software issues not related to hardware defects
  • Products with removed or altered serial numbers
  • Damage from power surges or electrical issues

Note: Products with manufacturing defects are covered under warranty rather than our return policy. Warranty claims require diagnostic verification and may take 5-10 business days to process.

8. Warranty Service Process

Filing a Warranty Claim

To file a warranty claim:

  1. Contact customer support with your product serial number and proof of purchase
  2. Complete our diagnostic questionnaire
  3. Provide detailed description of the defect with photos/videos if possible
  4. Receive warranty claim approval and return authorization
  5. Ship the product using provided prepaid label

Repair vs. Replacement Hierarchy

For approved warranty claims, we follow this process:

  1. Repair: We attempt to repair the defective product
  2. Replace: If repair is not feasible, replace with same model (refurbished acceptable)
  3. Substitute: If unavailable, replace with comparable newer model
  4. Refund: If no suitable replacement available, provide store credit for original purchase amount

Important: Warranty replacements carry the remaining warranty period of the original product, not a new 1-year period. All warranty service is provided at our sole discretion based on technical evaluation.

Company Protection: Puchi Technologies reserves the right to deny warranty claims that cannot be verified, lack proper documentation, or show signs of misuse. Our warranty evaluation decisions are final and binding.

9. International Returns

International customers must:

  • Contact support before initiating returns
  • Be responsible for return shipping costs and customs
  • Ensure products comply with return/import regulations
  • Allow additional processing time (10-14 business days)

Refunds for international orders will be processed in the original currency, minus any currency conversion fees.

10. Restocking Fees

Restocking fees may apply to:

  • Custom-configured products: 15% restocking fee
  • Large/bulky items requiring special handling: $25 fee
  • Returns without original packaging: 10% restocking fee
  • Professional installation reversals: Actual service costs

Restocking fees are waived for defective products or our shipping errors.
